Well-known holiday resort directly by the sea, 3 km from Norden, 33 km from Aurich, 38 km from Emden. In the resort: shops, bakers, post office, bank, restaurant. Indoor pool, sauna, sun bed, health cures, massage. More possibilities for shopping 3 km. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Bremen (BRE) 163 km. The "Ocean Wave" is a seawater pool heated to 30 degrees with artificial waves and open air swimming pool as well as sauna, solarium, whirlpool and various restaurants. Directly by the Wattenmeer national park (a Unesco natural world heritage site since 2009). Excursions to the seal mud-banks (high season), to the islands of Helgoland, Juist and Norderney as well as to Emden and Aurich. FREE BICYCLE RENTAL (when available), small carts (3 Euros per day, 20 Euros per week) and ferry bookings to Norderney can be made at the Interhome office. IMPORTANT: there is only one parking space per holiday property. If you have more than one car, additional parking spaces will be charged for and will not always be close to your holiday accommodation.
